It's hard to believe summer is coming to an end. I've been back at work that past two weeks and Landen starts school tomorrow. But we've still been busy. Here's what we've been up to the past two weeks.
Last weekend Al and Cindy stopped by so we headed to Pioneer Power Association Days. I was thinking it was bad timing for them to have this since the state fair was running but apparently everyone with an old tractor in the area would rather be here. I was a gorgeous day and Landen, Brant, and Al enjoyed looking over all the equipment.
Landen decided he wanted to try the pedal pull, below Al is coaching him on technique and getting him pumped up for his run. Looks interested doesn't he?
The steam tractors were fun to see,...
I'm glad I wasn't one of the volunteers for the steam thrashing demo
Landen and Brant went out fishing, well mostly swimming with our friends Lauren and Mike. Afterwards Mackenna and I joined them for a great meal, unfortunately no fish was served.
Mackenna had a conversation with the dog
And Landen and I rode a camel at the Steele County fair.
