When Al and Elaine rescued us from the Bagley, MN we went to the Falls for a couple days to figure out how we were going to get home and whatnot. While we were there we decided to take part in some of the festivities.
Landen and Mackenna enjoyed the view from the Smokey the Bear statue at the parade.
But Mackenna decided she needed a little bit closer view so she and Brant joined the crowd (you can just see her up on Brant's shoulders)
Mackenna ran in the kids race under 3 division and came in 5th place, you can see below she was pretty excited about the dollar she won.
We had a picnic at City Beach...
and the whole family came.
And since it was at the beach there was of course some swimming involved.
We hope everyone had safe and fun holidays.
