Memorial Weekend

I was a gloomy weekend around here but we didn't let it get us down. 

 

Mackenna was very excited for the parade this year. She waited so patiently to see what was coming and watched for Landen who we knew was someplace in the parade.

 

Is he behind the flag bearers?    No don't see him there

 

Is he with the other Boy Scout and Cub Scout packs?   Nope

 

 

 

 

What do you know, there he is along with the rest of his pack bringing up the rear on poop patrol. Good job keeping the streets clean boys.

 

We got to catch up with Laura for a movie and a treat afterward.

We visited the Quaking Bog at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. It was great fun walking on the squishy walkway and nice and muddy with all the rain we've had. The great part about the cold spring we've had, no bugs yet.

 

 

We stopped at the playground while we were there too, Mackenna is in her flower shop below selling me all kinds of flowers in every color of the rainbow.
