Tall Ships 2013

This past weekend we enjoyed a visit to Duluth to see the Tall Ships with Grandma Elaine and Larry.

They were beautiful!

 

Landen had the opportunity to go for a ride on the Privateer Lynx. His favorite part was the shooting of the cannon when those scurvy interlopers got too close. You can learn more about the Lynx at http://www.privateerlynx.com/

Sitting on the rocks and watching the ships soon became climbing on the rocks...

 

and then throwing the rocks. A favorite activity on a visit to Duluth.

 

 

We're already wet so we might as well check out the fountain.

 

The hotel had everything a kid could want, bouncy houses and slides,

 

mini-golf,

 

and a super fun water park

 

 

During our visit we also finally got to meet Miss Alana, Joy and Alan's baby now 7 months old. Landen and Mackenna thought she was so fun.
