Landen and Brant started
the weekend with the kids fishing tournament
on Saturday. Unfortunately they didn't
stay long, Landen fell and hurt his knee,
that was the end of the fun.
We headed over to watch the soapbox races, Landen wants Brant to make him one that has a roof that pops up. Brant was gathering all kinds of ideas for his future soapbox racer. He thinks he'll have to race it a couple years just to perfect it and then Landen should be able to take over. Mackenna thought they we're lots of fun.
Landen and a little girl we met at the parade lean out to see what's coming. In between floats they entertained each other with a beach ball. Neely threw it a little too far and Landen had to go and get it in the road, below he is very serious, telling her not to throw it so far.
Mackenna's favorites were the balloons people were walking along selling and Daddy blowing bubbles. Sooo exciting!
