Long distance travelers

We had a nice visit from Grandma Kristi and Grandpa Rick last week. They came up to attend Kristi's high school reunion but between their get togethers and Brant and I working we had a little time to catch up and it was nice for the kids to see them, trying to lay down the memory of the face that goes with the Grandparents who live in the state with the dice on Landen's map.

On our one totally free day we headed to the Science Museum, Landen had been wanting to see the dinosaurs but there is so much to see I'm sure there will be many trips in our future.

The ball vortex was lots of fun

How about this tornado maker...so cool Landen would have spent an hour if we would have let him

The body bugs we're very interesting especially since he'd seen some of them in his micro monsters book, it's a good thing Brant wasn't along, they totally gross him out.

There was a great view from the tug boat, Mackenna just hung out with Grandpa while we explored.
