Last weekend was Heritage Days here in Faribault so between rain showers we took in a little bit of the fun. Landen is pictured below riding on his school's float in the parade and attempting to walk on water in the big inflatable ball (they sort of reminded me of gerbils).
Brant and Landen have been fishing several times. They participated in the children's fishing tournament again this year, no luck with the fish but Landen did win a giant tackle box. They both came home soaking wet, I was impressed that they held out for the entire tournament during the torrential down pour.
Mackenna tried her hand at mini golf...it was fun for about 2 holes and then the water traps became more interesting.
It's Dairy Month in Minnesota so yesterday we went and had breakfast on the farm, again in the rain. We had some tasty pancakes and sausage. Mackenna loved the ducks, wasn't so sure about the calves, goats, or piglets though.
Landen always has to ride the barrel train.
