We headed up north for a long weekend with Grandparents and to help Great Grandma Grace celebrate her 90th birthday.
Mackenna had a blast with all the motorized toys at Grandma Jeans. Thanks to the neighbours for bringing over the little 4-wheeler for her to ride.
Nolan from next door was so nice to take Mackenna for a ride on his 4-wheeler, but as you can see Mackenna always wants to be in control and it trying to reach for the handle bars so she can steer.
Brant and Ron built a trail bride for Grandma Jean's horse to use. Brant really is handy, he banged it out in no time.
We spent a couple nights at Al and Cindy's house. They love to wrestle with Grandpa.
Grandma Grace had a great turn out at her party, she got a surprise when her sister Ellen arrived to help her celebrate.

Awww, Grandma still likes to rock her baby in her mothers rocking chair.
Big thanks to cousin Grace for playing with all the little cousins. I wished we lived closer to her so she could baby sit for us. Above she is playing ring around the rosy with Mackenna and Macide.
Landen and Mackenna...they don't like each other at all. I've never seen two people laugh so much just by looking at one another.
I don't think Uncle Ken knew what he was starting when he gave the first kid a ride on the broom...
Zack, Owen, Landen, and Mahmut decided to make a broom into a train.
After the party we headed over the the Krauter's cabin where Landen played in the lake for 8 hours, it was hot outside but I was concerned about hypothermia for him. I think he might be part fish.
A.J. brought up the boat so they went out a few times, once getting Uncle Stu out on the tube with them behind the boat. They went on a sunset cruise as well...beautiful!
Landen and cousin Thomas.
On our way home we stopped in Duluth to see the tall ships. Pictured above is the Niagara, a replica from the war of 1812. It was amazing and beautiful. I don't know how anyone could ever figure out which rope needs pulling, there are so many.
Thank you so much for posting all of these pictures. What a fun weekend we had!
