Swimming Lessons

For the past 2 weeks Landen has been going to swimming lessons Monday-Thursday. It was amazing to see the growth in just that short time. Prior to starting he didn't want to get his face wet, he wouldn't jump off the side without holding someones hand and I think was generally a little bit fearful of the water. He's pretty sensitive to getting water in his eyes and nose so I think that's been the turn off until now. His teachers Andi and Kristi were wonderful and the High School where the lessons are located has a great kids pool that is warmer and 1.6 - 3 feet deep so it was perfect for getting him used to the water. Since he's made so much progress we signed him up for next session too, another two weeks of lessons ahead but he loves it.
